ASK THIS QUESTION IN THE FORMULA 1 SECTION
THEY SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN US CAUSE FORMULA ONE IS WHERE BOTH TECHNOLOGY AND DURABILITY TAKE PLACE.

ferrari with out a Doubt becauseit does every thing a Supercar is Intended to do, turnheads, handle phenomennly, beautifull engine soundtrack, I mean it does every thing where as the Lambo is officially the king of the hill when it comes to head turners, its a hypercar tht mean it can only go fast in a straight line (except the Gallardo) in hypercars there is jus so much grip but when you get to the limit it'll kill you where as a supercar like a Ferrari F430 or the Awsome Porsche Carrera GT will keep its self steady even on the limit tht makes it handle better did you know tht the Diablo had the most dangerous handling in the World in the 90's and the lambo Countach is the most unpracticle car the world has ever seen sure it looks like a stealth bomber but very stupid so goes for the Murcielago and the Murcielago LP640 ok to make it a little simpler here is an Incedent the Lambo LP640 which is awsomly fast I mean 211 mph 0-60 in 3.4 second couldnt beat a Carrera GT even by a Millisecond when Top Gear took it round there Test Track and the old Murcielago couldnt not beat the F430 and the 360 Challenge Stradale on the tht means all tht power for no use so tht said a ferrari is a Supercar and a lambo is a Hypercar wht would you choose well me a supercar.

Ferrari has many many more models of car out, as well as all the models that have been made in the past. Lamborghini's total number of models made can be counted on two hands. Ferrari has had more time and victories on the track and in my opinion are more sought after than Lamborghinis. Both brands are hand made, but Ferrari offers cars that can accomodate 4 people, while Lambo does not. lately Ferrari has been basing some of their road cars off of their race cars which can make them extremely safe for the road, even in high speed accidents. I don't think any Ferrari or Lamborghini is very cost efficient, and I haven't seen either of them with high enough mileage to consider them reliable, people rarely drive them.

In my opinion, I'd say Ferrari....

They take such pride in every single aspect of their vehicle as I have ever seen. As far as durability & cost efficiency... I don't have any experience there, but since I know the quality and technology they have and use is prolly 2nd to none, I would imagine the durability should be exeptional.

I'm sure Lamborghini is a fine supirior vehicle in it own right too, but years of racing and Enzo's passion on his products definatly give Ferrari a big edge over most anything you will find.

I could write a book about how good Ferrari's car building is, but be known, this...

Ferrari will not accept any type of flaw in any aspect on their vehicles, paint, interior, fit & finish, engines, etc... They use so far advanced factorys, engines are hand built, interiors, and every single part of the production is unsurpassed... With all that, their quality control is so stringent, that even the tiniest flaw or imperfection is not tolerated.

In terms of technology, you are comparing a company that has built top of the line race cars since they were founded, and continues to successfully compete at the top levels of motorsport (Ferrari), with a farm equipment company (Lamborghini).

Ok, that's harsh, and Lamborghini's technology has made vast strides in recent years since they were purchased by VW. There is no doubt that their current offerings are the best developed chasis the company has ever offered, and probably their most reliable as well.

However, Ferrari remains a company that continually incorporates it's racing advances into it's road cars, and in terms of chasis rigidity and car balance, they remain well ahead of Lamborghini. Both cars are fast, beautiful, and will make a large dent in your wallet. But in terms of technology, Ferrari is still clearly ahead.

In terms of fit and finish, VW has made great strides to improve consistency with Lamborghini, and now both feature very high and consistent build quality.

Both cars should be durable and reliable, though it will depend much on planned use. Most of these cars wind up spending more time in the garage than on the road, which in the end can reduce their reliability (the cars are designed to run and many parts do not get fully lubricated if they are not run on a regular basis which can lead to small failures). Prior to VW's ownership, Lamborghini trailed Ferrari in reliability, but that should not be a factor with the current cars being offered.

Lamborghini is owned by Audi. This means that loads of german engineering now goes into the Italian mark. This means that Lambos have now jumped up a few steps on the quality and reliability ladder. When you can put a super car through the same reliability testing a VW Polo and it passes, your doing something right. This will in turn improve the depreciation values.

Ferrari are truely passionate about cars. You probably will not find another manufacturer whose more passionate about their cars. The amount of attention that goes into what they do is crazy - keyhole camera inspection of the engines and other such things.
However on the build side of things I would have to say that Lamborghini is better. German engineering doesn't have a great reputation because it's "just ok".
As for technology, I can't say.
But for peace of mind and wallet I would place my bet on the raging bull.

That is something that people have been arguing since Lamborghinis went into production. There is no correct answer.
Ferrari has a much richer racing heritage and more racing development so they might be better in that regard. Lambo's have no racing program to speak of.

A Ferrari is a stunning beauty you're married to.

A Lamborghini? It's the equally-hot lady with whom you're having an affair.

Which one do you prefer?
