who else wishes that lupin and tonks would stay alive in the last book

I wish they at least had a death scene!! Lupin especially was such a main character that he deserved as much. I heard that Lupin was killed by Dolohov and Tonks by Bellatrix. I did like the parallel between harry and Teddy Lupin though, that even without parents a child can have a happy childhood. Which we have not seen yet in the books with Harry/Riddle.

I was disappointed by all of the deaths (including Lupin and Tonks): Moody, Fred, Colin, Dobby . . . I cried when they buried Dobby. I even was angry Snape had to die.
I knew some major characters were supposed to die. I was just hoping it would be Voldemort and his Death Eaters . . . OK, I'll admit it . . . I kind of hoped it would be Draco too.

It was a lot of deaths...it would have been cool if they were included in the "19 years later", we could have learned how there kid turned out. Even though I thought the 19 years later was a little irrelevant!

J.K. made a promise to kill off two "main" characters. This was done a a little bit of marketing so someone had to die.
