Don't quite see the connection between the two. I will say I'm disappointed that my fellow blacks expect so little of black celebs. Assuming Vick is truly guilty they won't want him to pay the consequences merely because Paris Hilton got out of jail or whatever. What message does this send to the rest of us? That we shouldn't expect to be held accountable when we break the law? That mentality is going to come back to bite us (i.e. when we feel free to break the law and end up hurting other blacks).

How can someone make two things that have absolutely nothing to do with one another a race issue? This happens far too much in today's society.

No!

Quit playing the race card.

Those two cases aren't even about the same crime.

Mike Vick is a sick, sick man if he did that to those dogs. He knew it was going on, it was his property. He deserves 6 years for EVERY dog he did that, too.

Guilty is guilty. Race is not a factor in this case.
