i have std or a infection in my down below area and i wondered how i managed to catch it?

STD's are contracted sexually, from person to person contact.
Unless, you have a yeast infection which you can contract yourself from stress, anitbiotics etc. & your partner.
Call your doc. & make an apt, soon.

Do you know what kind of STD it is? That has a lot to do with how you contracted it. It's possible you could have had sex with an infected person.

From a toilet seat?
From a bicycle seat?
From being woth someone who suffers from it?
Someone who has made contact with you and infected you in their own way.
If you think it is STD then you should goto see a doctor PQD - then speak to your partner about it. It is the only way - most infections cause numerous other problems so its best to get it done asap.

If it is an STD.. i would look at your partner (or however you slept with last) as they are caught from having sex..
If you are talking about a yeast infection.. many things cause a yeast infection.. poor diet and/or hygiene, stress, wearing nylon panties or even wearing to tight pants.
Get to the doctor to get checked out

STD's are typically spread through vaginal sex, anal sex, and oral sex. Fingering is only risky if the person doing it has a cut on their finger. So if you've done one of those, that's probably how you got the disease.

first go to a doctor.. and be sure.. and honestly .. how'd you catch it? sex .. oral .. fingering.. actual penatration..
and its called a vagina.. it you cant even type it you shouldnt be letting anyone play with it!
