no, bagwell is retired and bagwell got to play with biggio the last day of his career so why bother

I would like to see it. They have both contributed a lot to the Astros organization. Bagwell was a great player and so is Biggio. Congrats to Biggio on 3000 hits. However, as much as I would like to see Bagwell play one more game with Biggio, I don't think it will happen since Bagwell is too injured to play another game. Astros fans should be happy to know that Bagwell will have his #5 retired next month, and Biggio will likely have his #7 retired next year. It would be a priceless experience.

No. Bagwell retired because he physically could no longer play baseball. It would be ok if they had a Craig Biggio night for the last home game and Bagwell was there and was a key part of the festivities, but to bring him back as a player for one game would be too artificial.

Bagwell: no. If he would have stayed healthy and gotten 500 homers; then yes. He is under .300 and has 449 homers, with zero championships (for his career). Almost, but not quite headed to Cooperstown. Biggio: yes. For a second basemen he has great stats... over 400 steals and 274 homeruns with over 1,100 rbis. batting ave. isn’t the greatest with .284 career, but played 19 seasons (maybe even more after this season) and all with the same team. If he plays one more season he will get 3,000 hits, and that will pretty much insure him to be in the HOF. Like Bagwell, no rings either... but I feel for a 2b he is solid as they come.

It would be priceless plus I heard a rumor that Biggio will catch a few innings for Roy Oswalt.
