I know another story but anyway I'm really like bouncing up and down when I get to an exciting part in the book I'm writing. I don't know if i have a weird problem or it's completly normal.

This reply is coming from a girl who is very passionate about writing. I mean, tell me, is it normal to get a bit depressed about not having a story idea to work with? I don't see anything at all wrong with getting excited when you're working on something. I do it sometimes. . . well, I don't know about the bouncing part, but I do get really excited and I might let out a little squeal or squeak (provided that no one's around). You're not weird or psychotic; it's cool, it just depends on who perceives you.

It's very, very normal! Sometimes I like to write that particular scene or (if it's a plot twist in general I'm excited about) jot down a short outline and keep it handy for when I come to that part.

Very little about writing is a true JOY; mostly it's a struggle to work with something you have inside of you, and even if it's not painful, it's almost never easy. So take the happy moments and let them fuel your drive and your passion; there's nothing wrong with getting excited about writing! It can be difficult or sad or joyful, but it's always wonderful. Sounds to me like you're a true writer and simply involved in your work. :)

You're a writer! You are supossed to be excited about writing a novel/a chapter or certain part. If you are excited, then you'll most likely stick with the novel or short story.

Trust me, it is definitely normal! I'm in the process of writing a fantasy book, and I have trouble sitting still and containing my emotions as I'm writing it! It's a really amazing feeling, and I think people who get to feel that way are very lucky. Best of luck to you with your book! =D

Completely normal. And when you finish a really difficult scene that you've sweated through, you get this most incredible high. No drugs required.
