You don't list processor speed or the motherboard so pricing out all the components would be impossible. I'm guessing though you're looking at about $600-$1200 (new) depending on the monitor specs. For a used system, drop the price about 40% (no matter how used it is).
Why not check Dell, NewEgg, or one of the sites on PriceWatch to find a comparable system.

Since Gateway made it...it is only worth about $600...their products really slipped after 2003

300-500. Reason it wont be nearly as much as you payed is simply because its used and a little old. Not a super computer :P. and its a gateway, ouch.
My computer isnt as good as your, I dont have as much ram or hd space, and my monitor isnt as big as yours. However I can guarantee my computer would complete very well in benchmarks vs yours. And I only paid $400 for mine.

not that great of a graphics card. i would say the only great thing about it is the screen, HDD, and RAM. Oh and its Core 2 Duo not Dull =P
