How do you tie dye with black and colors?

I have seen tie dye shirts that have black in between the spirals. Anyone know how to do this technique?

You can dye any colour you want, and you can also dye several times. With different parts covered.
If you want to dye only a small part black, you can protect most of the shirt in plastic, or just dip the tied circles into the black dye.

You can also start with a dyed shirt, use bleach instead of dye for the first time and use dye later to create a different effect.
