is UCSB a good university?

is UCSB a good university?

im not worried about the whole idea of a party place
what i like about it the most is the beach (which i NEED to have nearby)
but i was wondering, what do you think about it?
what i want to do after is open up my own surf shop,
so I would probably take some business classes.
ur ideas?

All of the UC schools are highly rated. Even UC-Riverside (the lowest rated of the UCs) is ranked in the top 70 in the country.

UCSB doesn't have the reputation of Berkeley or UCLA -- but is still a great university.

Not great, like UCLA or Berkeley. But a solid, good, well respected school
