Depends on your life stage....friends change, I don't hang with the same people I did in High School or College. Before as a guy most of my friends were men, either people I met at work in the Army or spouses of my ex. After over 28 years of enforced male bonding, (All male high schools and colleges back in the 70s, I perfer women as friends and tend to have more woman friends. Perhaps I am overcompensating. However you do need guy friends to talk about guy things. Women can't do it. Keep a balance in life but usually marriage will cause you to lose contact with much of your guy friends as you take on family responsibilities.

Now it's the same sex but when I was in middle school it was the opposite sex. I like hanging out with guys better b/c girls bring too much drama my way and i'm sick of it.

Most of my life they've been the opposite sex. I've always related to guys better. Women tend to annoy me. But since I've been married I don't have either.

I'm a boy, and most of my friends are the opposite sex. I don't really know why, but all the boys at my school are really immature and just plain weird. But get one thing straight, I'm not gay.
