Al Di Meola is a Fantastic, lightning speed guitarist which plays very good flamenco Jazz and Jazz Fusion. His truly great.

Check his album called 'Elegant Gypsy'.

He also was a part of a 70's Jazz fusion band with Chick Corea called 'Return to Forever'. You should check them out as well.

"Jazz" is just one of the many genres one experiences listening to Al. I think he is one of the finest solo guitar artists alive. He is not "easy" to listen to, because he hits you with incredible runs of rapid-fire creative genius. One of the few musicians I am absolutely in awe of, so much so that I wouldn't even DARE try to play what he does.

Regardless of what his genre is called, you should give hm a listen just because he's so good!

In addition, he's a real nice guy. One of those that actually answers fan mail.

Happy listening!
