I know a lot of people think that its better to have love and lost than never to love at all...but I don't agree. I may wear my emotions on my sleeve, but the heart is guarded perpetually. Its too important to leave it otherwise. The world shouldn't be able to get it....just those who've earned and deserve it.

Do we? I suppose in some cases we do, but then again it's out of our own fear of being hurt or being left alone or being ridiculed.

It's not good to keep love all bottled up , it grows stale and vinegary if you do that .

Someone once said it's not who you love or what you love , it's that you love that is important.

Love isn't always returned in the ways we think it should be but love is out there . Whether it's in the purr of your favourite kitty or a wet sloppy kiss from your furry four legged pup or your mum's reassuring smile or a good night kiss from your loved one. Love is all around you, you just have to open the locks and let it come out.

This seems to be the science age and it is notoriously without feeling Feelings, however, trump reason every time. A good dose of Emotional Intelligence is the only cure for all of our 'reasoning', as if reasoning where the major player. That so called reasoning seems to be mostly ego. Just watch how judgmental those are who over much use words like science and logic.

Love is a sacred thing. When we witness it being stepped upon a time or two, we are hesitant to put it out there where it isn't treated kindly.

Because we're scared of getting emotionally hurt. Alot of people wear their heart on their sleeves, and when we lose someone we love, physically or emotionally, we guard ourselves out of fear of getting hurt again.

Because if we do that then we can't get our hearts broken.

However, there is the saying, better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all, which I agree with.
