In Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, the ghost of Christmas Present stated, when presenting the two hideous children from underneath his cape, "Beware of ignorance and greed...." Although I am not perfect, even with a Masters in Education, I earnestly strive to stay away from such confusion by diligently researching for pedantic answers and humbly asking other people for unambiguous information that may steer me away from such perplexity and clear me of being ostentatious. That way,hopefully, I can stay on top of things in this confusing and complex world of ours. Love the question!!! It's one for enticing erudition.

Eschew obfuscation, also stated as: "eschew obfuscation, espouse elucidation", is a common humorous saying of English teachers and professors when lecturing about proper writing techniques.
Literally, the meaning is "avoid ambiguity, adopt clarity", but the use of extremely uncommon words in the English language itself causes confusion, making the phrase a prime example of irony.
The linguist Paul Grice used the phrase in the "Maxim of Manner", one of the Gricean maxims.
