Yup. They couldn't get Flav to come back so they just looked for another "celeb" to take his place. It is basically the same format. Flav said that if it didn't work out the second time he wasn't going to do it again so they had to find someone new.
in my opinion Flav of Love was wayyy better. A lot more controversial. And i like to watch drama! :-)

Flavor of Love is better.
I cannot relate to Rock of Love.
Women with silicone boobs, mullet hairdos, partying all the time, into 'Girls Gone Wild' activities (i.e. doing each other).
I knew from the previews that I didn't want to watch Rock of Love. So far from what I've read about the show, I'm glad I didn't.
Bottom line: Poison has a new CD & they're touring with other has-been 80s rock bands. The show was done to promote Poison, not to find love.

I like rock of love. I don't mind Brett, however flav OMG I couldn't change the channel fast enough. Him and that damn clock and the over-the-top personality...ugg. Way too annoying. I watched charm school though...
I always watch the Comedy Central Roasts, but not this year, since they are roasting flavor flav no thank you.
But yeah its the same show

I think Rock of Love is better for the simple fact the Bret Micheals has a cute face, good personality, and hot bod... Flavor Flav is rather hidious and I don't understand why anyone would be with him..... I like both of the show but.... Rock of Love is a little better but there both ******' hiliarious....

I think they are similar however culturally different. Therefore what may fly on Flav's show wouldn't necessarily cut it on Rock of Love. And what works on Rock of Love might not wash on Flavor of Love.
The are both entertaining in there own way. I watch them both because they are both funny in there own way.
Let's face it some of these women are just down right nuts! And that is entertaining.

No, he is not even a pimp. No way he is the "new" flavor of love. He is the rock of love and got hot girls but he sucks.

I think that the newer show (Rock of Love) is an absolutely disgusting display of what some no class people are capable of.
Not only are the women trampy, but with the exception of a couple are playing up to a terrible stereotype.
And, I think that Bret Michaels is a pig!

Same story line but it is a lot different if you ask me.. on both shows the girls are wild, but a different kind of wild. The scenarios are a little different also... And of course there is a lot of drama with all them girls living together but that's no shocker. I find both of the shows to be entertaining.
