I'm collecting half dimes. Where can I find them outside of the internet?

You can go to local coin shows, or to local dealers. You can also get copies of Coin World as well as Numismatic News at most coin shops. They come out weekly and have ads in them. The silver 1/2 is a fantastic series and even the Capped Bust ones from 1829-1837 are affordable to most. The earlier ones are for people with a much larger budget. There is a lot of history with the half dime. The only large gap was between 1806-1828 when non were struck. There are a lot of well worn pieces out there, so the little 1/2 dime must have done it's job. Good luck on your pursuit.
