I wouldn't pitch to him if I were playing him. But if they do, and he gets his two home runs, people will boo and throw stuff, of course. Them's the breaks. I am sure that Bonds doesn't want it that way, but what is he going to do, not play until they go home again? It will be awhile until the Giants are home again, and the record is a joke enough as it is, so Bonds is going to have to just take it like a man.
If he finally does it, I wouldn't worry about it anyway. Odds are that he'll eventually get busted for the doping everyone knows he did, and the record won't even count anymore.

Everyone saw in the series after the all-star break that the Dodgers pitched to him EVERY TIME! HE couldn't do anything then and I am praying he doesn't do anything now. Even if the Dodger/Giants have something planned, the fans are not going to go for it. It would be a night mere to have tie the record in LA. He would get booed out Dodger Stadium. I think every Dodger fan can relate to Russell Martin's opinion:
"I definitely don't want to be on SportsCenter for the next 20 years for that reason," said Martin

I would actually be surprised to see Dodger fans throwing things on the field. Somehow they just don't seem to be that type of fan. They definitely will boo, but I personally think the 2 funniest scenarios would be if it happened late in a game, and most of the fans had already left (since usually Dodger Stadium empties out starting in the 7th inning) or if the fans had no reaction at all. I think a tremendous round of indifference would be the most deserving tribute for Bonds.

i think it will be great for baseball. Bonds hitting it against the most hated rivals. If it happens in dodgers, this game will never be forgotten because of the reaction of us dodger fans and it was not hit in at&t park. I know Barry will love hitting it here in L.A. cause he loves it here. Yeah tthe giants will have this moment BUT they will never win a championship in SF

I think it would be ironic that Bonds and Aaron set record against Dodgers!

It would be ironic that of all teams to do it against, it would be LA.
I think it's about time for some of those magic 'sore legs' to pop up b\c even though I'm sure he wants to just be done w\ it--LA is probably the very last place he wants it to be done.
I believe San Diego is after LA (who I think he has the most HR's against) and then it's home---so he could technically stretch it out.

MLB is no doubt going to pat everyone down, confiscate anything that can be thrown, etc. Baseball will do everything in its power to legitimize Bonds records.
