I agree, the republicans are fascist, and the sad part of it, most of the idiots are delusional about what they are. But what do you expect from people who don't believe in education or science? They probably never studied history.
The smart ones? well the smart ones just lie and spin and tell you that its rain falling on your back not someone pissing on you. I have even seen them redefine fascism so that torture, and warrantless spying and warmongering, etc...is not the definition but rather something else. I have seen them accuse democrats of being both communists and fascists. lol

they really would very funny these fascist republicans, it it was not all so very sad.

They don't and definitely not "since the beginning".

Remember that in the 1800s, the Republicans were the liberals of the nation.... they've only become the conservatives in the past 80 years or so.

And it's only a very small faction within the Republican party that really wants a totalitarian govt with no personal liberties.

As little as 30 years ago, Republicans were primarily for states-rights and small/weak federal govt.

So, don't generalize and blame the entire party just because a few of their party leaders happen to advocate that.

Last time I looked, it wasn't the Republicans (in general) who wanted the U.S. to be defeated in Iraq. The war is over, but the Democrats are the ones who want us to abandon Iraq, and let it be taken over by terrorists, yet again.

I would estimate that 90% of material that looks at our national heritage in a favorable light was written by conservatives (about everything I've read, but I'm giving a decent cushion for material I haven't yet read.).

Republicans do not support Fascism, we support representative government and democracy, that's why we don't want Fascist regimes like Saddam Hussein and the Taliban to ratain power.

representative government meaning drunks and liar and socialists who pretend to represent their misinformed districts and states by passing meaningless bills that hurt moral? democracy meaning a world were everyone pays extremely high taxes for benefits a minority uses, people need only to cross the border to become citizens, it is illegal to own a weapon and criticize un-American qualities, were our posture towards terrorism is ignore it; maybe it will go away? because that's how its been since the beginning right?

Republicans stand for a strong America, and a Strong Democratic World, Democrates stand for a strong France and a feeble Communist in Everything But Name world.

Political bigotry is alive and well.

They don't. Some do. They are just as likely to choose political bigotry as a way to shore up weak egos.

Same as the argument reversed:

"Why do Democrats prefer Socialism to representative government and democracy??

Why do they hate what America has been since the beginning?"

It's just as silly.
Wastes our time.

Can we get to issues and legitimate protest and cheering now?

They seeks to forge a type of national unity, usually based on, but not limited to, ethnic, cultural, or racial attributes. Most of them think it's OK and you see their answers here everyday but they deny Fascism.
Various scholars attribute different characteristics to fascism, but the following elements are usually seen as its integral parts: nationalism, authoritarianism, statism, militarism, corporatism, populism, totalitarianism, anti-communism, racism and opposition to economic and political liberalism.

Well, to be fair, I do not think they all hate democracy..but unfortunately for them.. they now have a leader and a runaway administration who think they are creating a kingdom.

Take a breath, relax, they will be gone soon. Unfortunately, not soon enough to save our soldiers lives. They will carry that evil with them until they die.

Again with the caricatures. We wouldn't let a foreigner talk about fellow Americans that way without calling them on it, why should we let you (and the others like you) without doing the same?

And I speak as a Democrat.
