Because the Republicans suddenly realized their is more money to be made with 5 billion minorities than 300 million Americans.

Many top Republicans are heartless materialist who care nothing for America, Christianity or Western Civilization. They are crude materialist animals incapable of emotions and human values.

Why does everyone think that because someone has different political views that means they hate America? I mean come on, get over yourself. Welcome to the land of freedoms. You can have a different opinion than someone else, and guess what, they just might not hate you!!! I think that hating other parties is just plain ignorant. For those people that think that the Republicans hate the Dems, etc. then maybe you should just move to another country where you're told what to think. How immature for "adults" who cry all day about their constitutional rights needing to be acknowledged and accepted to go right back against what their crying about and say it about others. I would say the Eisenhower republicans do not hate America/Americans and are far different then the corporate royalist republicans of today but one of the cores of conservatism is to stand by the father figure that knows best in times of fear instead of fallowing the representatives of the people`s will.

I think you are overreaching here. I think they hate what is happening to America, but for reasons different than the liberals. Both are right in some respects. Liberals have perpetuated these stupid ideas like multiculturalism and political correctness, whereas conservatives want to give a freer reign to corporations. Liberals believe everyone's rights should be respected even when those rights are clearly not in line with the moral standards the nation has, IE catering to muslims. Conservatives believe they should decided what morals ARE, like sexual orientation, even when these are clearly very private matters and should not affect ones ability to achieve and receive equal treatment.
In my opinion each side needs to give a little in the name of common sense. I don't think Republicans hate freedoms, I think they just have very select ideas of what freedoms should be. You're free to buy a bigger car without worrying about it's impact on the environment, but you're not free to watch nudity on television, even if you're an adult. You're free to say nasty things about gays, but you're not free to burn the flag.

I'm a Republican, as are most of the people that I am around on a regular basis, and none of them hate America/Americans. In the defense of Democrats, none of the Dems that I know hate America, either. However, policy decisions by our national leaders definitely seem to imply that it is the Democratic leadership that really hates America.

Free people refuse to make weapons to sell to terrorist groups . They also frown on military spending above and beyond simple defense .
