i am trying to custom install a muffler myself.

No, you need a pipe bender.

That is a pretty tight radius. About the only way I know of, is to use a torch and heat the metal and then bend it aound a 2-1/2" diameter guide. Be careful that you do not collapse the pipe when you do this. good luck.

Without a manderal pipe bender I wouldn't try yourself unless you have S pipes already. Improper bends can cause restriction to the ehxaust.

try extreme heat...or buy a flex pipe..

or buy the little machine that bends metals..

im not sure of the name of it...
but it can be done..

hope this helps a bit..
