I've been doing research on going to school for diagnostic sonography but the only school in my area has a waiting list of 3 years. I would have loved to get into sonography; it seemed like a perfect fit because it's more technologically based (i.e., you aren't dealing with needles and blood all day). Are there any other areas that I could check into?

Nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, CT, MRI, interventional radiography, mammography. Some of these require x-ray school first.
