i have a lv 25 rouge its got mainly blue a few greens armor its a troll but im wonderin if i should make a new alt a blood elf but some ppl say its good and other bad whats the differnce between the 2 races?

From reading your question it sounds as if you're looking for the differences between a Troll rogue and a BElf rogue?
The big thing to consider: Are you more concerned with PvE or PvP?
Troll racials (off the top of my head, so may be wrong) include bow specialization, berzerking and regeneration. Bow is useless for a rogue except for the stats you get from it. Berzerking improves AP and damage, reduces healing (IIRC). This can certainly help with a rogue's burst damage style of attacks. Regeneration is nice, but fairly minimal and in most combats, PvE or Pvp, will be of little/no benefit.
BElf racials (again, from shoddy memory) include mana tap, arcane torrent and maybe a bit of arcane resist? Resists are nice, but not typically a big help. Mana tap steals mana from opponents (good), can be used as a ranged pull, which isn't of much use to a rogue. Arcane torrent really shines in PvP for BElf rogues when taking on casters. Get behind a squishy mage, drop some big DPS on them from stealth, then arcane torrent to silence them for 3s so you can finish them off before they blink/heal/ice nova/etc.
So troll rogues have one good racial (berserking) one so-so racial (regen) and one useless racial (bow specialization). BElf rogues have one so-so racial (arcane resist), one ok racial (mana tap) and one good/great PvP situation specific racial(Arcane Torrent).
After that, the choice is really up to you. Happy stealthing!

I have had several BE toons. I really like the story and start zone for the BE's. As for the race itself, it is like any other race. There are good and bad points. I have a pally and rogue (neither played much unless my main server is down). If you have never done a BE, I would say run one until you ahve done the first 2 (3 if you count the level1-5 zone) zones, through Ghostlands. Really good storyline and some interesting/fun quests.

Preferences really, although the blood elf's racial is pretty nice, being able to drain your targets mana, then silence them for 2 seconds and gain 30 energy at the same time is very handy. The Troll's racial isn't that good in my opinion. Also, there is the style, which do you like to play as more?

Everyone ... and I mean EVERYONE had their opinion about each race! All races specialize in certain skills and earn more points for certain things you do. Also depending on which profession you would like to choose. Elves, in my opinion should be doing herbalism, I think it's easier for them. It just depends on what you plan to do with your character... what kind of blood elf did you want to make... It's really a matter of opinion on your part... Good luck gaming hun!

Blizzard will Never delete your characters, but they might just not show up on the armory because of the inactivity. I can assure you that if you did not delete your character before you stopped playing, the character is still there on your account.
