I know it´s not quite what you want but it´s interesting that where I live(nearly two miles above sea level) the temperature can be quite high providing that you are not in the shade. Of course the air is thinner up here so the heat is not conducted very well.

decreases. there are less air molecules moving around and therefore less kinetic energy. this is why you will freeze in space if unprotected.
