how long does it take to get a response when sending a real world casting video in?

i sent in my video about two months ago and i know the casting directors are still going to cities but i was just wondering if anyone else has applied by mail and know anything? how long i should keep up my pathetic hopes of getting a call back. is two months too long?

No. Some people I know have gotten responses well after 8 months and after they had forgotten all about it.
