I suspected my serpentine belt so I replaced it, but it turns out that the noise its from the tensioner. Does that mean i have to replace it?

Either replace the tensioner or learn to love the sound the noise will get worse. They are not hard to replace and and not really expensive to buy.

Yes, if you can definitely confirm the noise is from the tensioner you have to replace it. They aren't too bad to change. Good luck.
