Yes - I've read it twice. As far as Snape is concerned, I always thought he was a good guy in disguise. And he had a really good diguise!

I always figured that the way dumbledore died was a little odd.... it happened so fast and not nearly as dramatically as most events seemed to happen in harry potter that i have to admit i was suspicious. I either thought that snape would wind up on the good side or that dumbledore faked his own death. One of my theories was correct :o) my roommate and I debated about it endlessley for a while before the 7th book came out, we were both right in a way.

Well we all sorta felt he was not as bad as it seemed. I was shocked, but in my gut i knew he had some connection with Harry's family. I felt so bad when he died , knowing all along he was protecting Harry. I thought it was cool that harry named his son, middle name, after Snape. I can say to that i was sad when Fred, lupin, doby, tonks and mad eye died to. And i thought the last chapter could have been a Chapter, wrapping every character up. What ever became of the death eaters, malfoy everyone really . NO mention of Luna: she was a key character to. I love the way Tolkien ended the lord of the rings. And it to is in my opion that harry potter is the lord of the rings with a twist of modern day in it. U can compare contrast the 2 books all day.

I knew Snape was good, until he MURDERED Dumbledore, but reading this...it just...revolutionized everything I know about him. I would never have guessed he LOVED Lily! In fact, I'm going right now to read that part again.

no, i was wondering all along if Snape was secretly in love with Lily. I always thought he was good! I was surprised a bit that he and Lily grew up together and were friends since they were small children though.

Yeah.......I was determined to hate Snape but the way things turned out to be, he seems a real messiah. I wish that Ms. J.K.Rowling had been kinder and not made Snape and Lily sorts of lovers.

Yeah, it really surprised me to find out he was a Transvestite Transexual from Transylvania.
Oh, sorry, wrong story. But hey, you do have to admit that Snape did look like Rocky.
Did you notice in the first movie where he first comes into the headmaster's office and says "Look Dumbledore, a message in a bottle!"
Yo.

Not really.
I pretty much read the books properly and there are little hidden cues throughout that indicate Snape was not bad.
