Of course! TX has a fairly high sales tax and some of the highest real estate taxes in the country. There is no income tax in TX but they more than make up for that with the high sales tax and insanely high property taxes.

Dallas has a 8.25% sales tax as well as very high property taxes.

No income tax however.
