A = 6 x 2 units ²
A = 12 units ²

Area of a Paralellogram = 3 x 2
= 6

The base is 3sqrt2 and the altitude is 2sqrt2
Hence the area is
3sqrt2*2sqrt2
=12 units^2

Area of a parallelogram is the same as a rectangle, imagine if you shifted the triangle portion to the other side. so you just do base times height, which would give you 6 * Sqrt(2)

The area of a pareallelogram is base X perpendicular height
A = 2X square root of 2 multiplied by 3X square root of 2
=6X square root of 2
