I'm just wondering, because personally I thought mario was cooler when he spoke with a brooklyn accent and said more than "Let's a-go" and "It's a-me! Mario!"
What do other people think?

I agree, my absolute favorite Mario game is Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES. What a classic!

I like old school Mario but I think he's cool now too. In 2007 characters aren't supposed to talk much if at all. They say a couple lines and that's that

Man i grew up on mario one of my faves i got two mario all stars(the one with all the games in it.) mario is the best.

lol im 13 and i LOVE super mario on the snes.
i own the snes, the sega megadrive, A saturn, A ZX Spectrum (speccy)
i love retro games

man u r so right...im 15 and ever since ive been into gaming...i just wished that i was back in the days of old retro games...but now LONG LIVE THE WII SHOP CHANNEL! i can get the old school retro games and play them on my Wii!!! thanx so much nintendo and ur brining back old school games to people who didnt get to play them and experience the groundbreaking games that started it all
P.S. my friend has the N64 to this day and has so many games...i swear that if he sold his system and all his game...he woud have somewhat $10,000...i also almost got a sega saturn at a garage sale...

well i have a supernintedo and on it i have super mario bros its so fun !!!!! did u know its mario mario and luigi mario ?thats wierd!!
