I'm not sure where you are located, but if you live in a country in which women have the opportunity to work in business at all then yes, an MBA is a good thing for them to have. I got mine almost 30 years ago, and the number of women in the MBA program, as in all professional degrees, has increased dramatically since that time.

As far as corporate law, if your career goal is to become an attorney, then law is essential (you don't really study a "specialty" in law school in most cases, you just get a law degree), but if you are thinking that it will help you as a manager to understand the laws which affect you, it is probably too much for what you need. While I do find my law degree useful on the job quite frequently, I don't think I would have invested the time (3 years) and money (over $100K) to get the degree if I had been doing this just to be able to understand the lawyers (I could do it for free because I worked at the university). You just need a good business law class in order to understand what a manager needs to know in the business world.
