Why do people believe the official story of 9/11?

open air fires (due to limited oxygen supply) only burn as hot

- The ‘junk science’ of Global Warming and its effects around the globe

- WH orders to suppress and politicize reports on by the Surgeon General

- Plans for wars with Iraq and Afghanistan that were made before 9/11

- Saddam Hussein’s possession of WMD

- Saddam Hussein’s connection to Al Qaeda

- Saddam Hussein’s involvement in 9/11

- Saddam Hussein’s threat to the US or his neighbors

- Having NO plans for an extended occupation of Iraq or for keeping the peace

- Inadequate armor and supplies for our men and women in uniform

- Supposed ‘progress’ in Iraq, time after time

- Fudged numbers of civilian deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq

- The staged ‘toppling’ of Saddam’s statue

Assuming that what you propose has any more truth to it than anything the current or past administration has put forth, what do you expect would happen if the majority of citizens were convinced 9/11 was an inside job?

Overthrow the government? With what? Our military is run by generals who are loyal to Bush.

If the purpose of posing this question was to enlighten the American public you damn well better have a plan for what happens next.

So what you're telling me is that I should disregard my 8+ years of mechanical/structural engineering undergraduate and graduate education, along with experience in construction management and project develpment? And believe a couple propaganda websites who's "proof" is based on uneducated people suggesting results based off of some video and pictures?

And don't get me started on the steel. Unless you are a licensed structural engineer or have studied the effects heat and fire has on steel at different strengths, alloys, annealment, etc. (which I have), then I'm going to assume you're ignorant. Try educating yourself and read some PUBLISHED material on steel properties, and the effect of heat on these properties, and I think you'll be surprised. Again, get your information from a published source, not a propaganda website, or even wikipedia for that matter.

You're "physical evidence proof" is anything but. Go to school, learn about controlled demolition, heat transfer and its effect on steel structures under pressure, the ignition point and full combustion temperature of Jet A jet fuel used in Boeing 767's, design construction and development of buildings such as the WTC towers, the mechanics of steel and concrete under pressure, as well as structural engineering involving steel and concrete......and then, and ONLY THEN, may you post an educated conclusion of your own involving the events of September 11th, and not something some ignorant conspiracy theorists cooked up who have absolutely zero knowledge pertaining to the subject.

The question is why do you believe this conspiracy nonsense? To take just one point, open air fires burn a lot hotter than 250C - typically between 750C (a red flame) to about 1700C (a blue flame). The temperature is why the flame gives out light!!! So if you believe that rubbish about flames...
