To me, nothing personal, I think stage names are cheesy and kinda "fifties". If you really wanna change yours, you could use a name that holds some meaning (your mother's maiden name, an ancestor, or something like that).
Or if you have a very common name like Jill Smith, you could slightly alter the spelling or add a middle initial to make it stand out. "Jyll Smith" "Jillian Smith"...
Unless there is a reason (too many people with your name, for instance), I would say just be yourself.

Why do you need a stage name? the trend nowadays is to use one's real name. I have always wished, however, that I had used my stage name for my film career, but I didn't, I just used my real name. My 18 yr old protoge in Houston and I have been working on a stage name for him for months. And what's the rush? What is your real name? Tell me more and I will help. That is what I do, I help young actors with their careers and training.
