I bought triops a while ago and my container wasn't so big. It's circumference was probably 30 or 35 cm and the height of the container was about 20 cm. A small tank is also nice. Make sure your container or tank is cleaned using DISTILLED water. If it is tap or spring, the triops will die. The higher chance of death is tap water though... After the tank is cleaned, fill it with distilled water. Then pour half the contents of the eggs & nutrients pack (The one without pellet or spheres) into the tank or container after the distilled water is poured in. Then, wait a few days and your baby triops will pop out. When you see them (they should be tiny white specks), put 2 of the pellets, one brown and one green, or 2 of the pellets if all are the same color into the container. While you are trying to grow triops, in egg, baby, or adult... always put the tank or container under an incandescent lightbulb in winter and a fluorescent in summer. Make sure the water temperature is 24 degrees. I think it is 24 anyways. Check the internet to make sure! Go to Google and search "triops" or "triops help." Have fun!
