Care to specify on that one? I don't live in the country, nor a city, but a good sized town in Wyoming where Conservatives are in the vast majority and do quite well with our professions. And you call conservatives close minded.

Having quite literally been around the world no less than five times, having been subjected to the overcrowding and dirt of city life as well as the cookie cutter mind-set of suburbia, I intentionally chose to live in the remote countryside. I have all of my teeth, I have no new or used tires under my house AND I have a college education. I pride myself on staying well informed and avoid listening in on the circle jerks of the political spin gurus of Washington. I strongly suspect I know far more than does the average bear when it comes to how "professions operate."

what...people who live in the country are uneducated!!???? Sounds like you need the education. How can you be such an idiot? I much rather live in rural America (which I do ) than live in the over populated, crime centers of America where liberals dominate the cityscape, you cant see the stars at night, and you consume and trash without consequence....I have 3 degrees, how many do you have? (we now have electricity and indoor plumbing too) that goes for asotff too

No we aren't. I am a big city Republican and I have a very good idea and concept of how professions work. Just like I know how your profession of stupidity works....... I used to be a liberal at one time not too long ago. What's with you today?

Is this questions about Conservatives or Republican?? And which "professions" are we ignorant about? Is this a real question, or just a convenient way to bash Conservatives, Republicans, and "Country Folk"?

No, I consider myself a conservative based on how I feel the government should be run, and how things should be done. I am not ignorant, or a country folk, I just have my own opinion.

Fellow republicans? Your elitist attitude would usually indicate that your flock grazes on the other side of the fence.

That wasn't an ignorant generalization at all, now, was it? I will refrain from calling "liberals" the same, but it will be hard to resist...

having learned from failed empires such as Rome, one has to realize that liberal ways lead down a path of social and economic demise
