I can't decide which is worse and I'd like to see other people's opinions!

I guess it depends on how much you care what they are doing. If I care, I am annoyed more by the person who doesn't try at all. If I do not care, I am annoyed by the person who tries too hard.
An example is salesmen...
If you want the product they are selling, you are annoyed if they are not doing enough.
If you really don't want the product and they are really trying too hard to sell it to you, it is annoying.

I HATE the later of the two.
If you never try, you will never succeed.
I AM the first example, I try way too hard. Its painful to watch at times...since I'm not a quitter. Oh, I gotta tell ya, I so suck at some things, and keep trying to set a positive example for others, so they can be the winner. It is just exhausting, being so Nice! Trust me its annoying to me as well.

You can't try too hard. Someone who doesn't try at all is my choice. I hate when poeple do that in P.E. When we're playing for instance basket ball there cna be some people that doesn't even try to help. I hate basket ball 'cause I don't know all the rules so I can just help somewhat, but at least I try.

Those of us who do not try at all and are lazy and complain about everything annoy me very much people who try as hard as they csn shoulde be given a pat on the back.

Someone who tries too hard. I've got that at work with someone who is trying to ingratiate themselves to me, and I don't like it. I find it fake.

it annoys me more when someone doesn't try at all....all they can do it complain about it and not do anything about it!!!! at least the person who trys too hard can say, they have done all they can!

trying or not doing at all.
I used to be studying hard and I hated
who didn't study at all which means I
made them annoyed.
