The price...............OK...........let it be;
US, UK, Israel and many other countries, you have to give up your imperialistic goals.
Zionists, you have to give up your fake stories and live each in their mother country, give up Promised Land dream.
Misguided Muslims, you have to return to real Islam and accept Quran and honorable Sunnah as your judge, so you obey and follow them (By the way, I'm a Muslim, very proud to be)
To Every one living somewhere on Earth; love each other, forgive each other, sacrifice for each other and see what paradise this life will turn to be.

There really isn't a price. In order to achieve peace, the world would have to get rid of facism, and maybe the question should be how do we get rid of facism to get closer to world peace. Achieving total world peace would also require reconciliation of other drivers, i.e. religion, politics, etc. Everyone has a different way of thinking and unless everyone thought alike, then we would have less conflict. This is not a perfect world and there will always be conflict and it's how we handle the conflict that becomes an issue. Ideally, diplomacy is the best way, but that doesn't always work when you have stubborn, power-hungry nations. It would be nice to rid ALL countries of WMD, but that's not going to happen, when you have facist countries. As long as these countries exist, you can't garantee your freedom unless you build a strong military for defense and sometimes you may need to use offense; you can't just sit and wait to be attacked, "offense is the best defense". I don't think the UN can garantee world peace and much less our freedoms, especially when you have nations that suppress opposition and criticism. Ask yourself if you want to live under a nation that takes away your freedoms to achieve world peace.

The only price people have to pay for peace is their pride. By giving up violence, they face potential humiliation and shame in "defeat."
The priority of the world should be to show that is there is nothing shameful in laying down arms. Instead, that it is the ultimate show of strength, manhood, and enlightenment.
Also, it is not the job of the UN to police the world. Their job is to provide a dialog between all nations. It does this job pretty well in my opinion.

The world as a whole will never achieve peace because there are countries out there who only care about keeping there people down and themselves up. Evil is always going to exist; it is part of nature. With that said, our country has to remain focused on protecting the lives and rights of our citizens, and if we can afford it, extend the same benefits to foreign populations. On top of all of this, we have to continue to make sacrifices for the welfare of our nation, and secondly for the people of the world. We have to continue to treat our fellow man as we would want him to treat us. Achieving peace is not the easy path to take; therefore, individuals are more likely to do what is easier for them.
In addition, people have to become more aware of themselves and each other. Themselves in the sense that we are more worried about others than ourselves. If we only took the time criticize ourselves and make corrections accordingly, we would be better off. Also, we should take the time to learn about others culturally, and to not hate them for there differences.

Peace is one of those ideals that has no reality as an absolute, like expecting flavors to be like the spectrum from black to white.
Some things aren't absolute.
Peace, force upon a world with limited resources results in warfare of other types, whether ideological, economic, by buying up land, etc.
Peace is the moments between discovering you don't have enough, and you've taken enough, after you've depleted the need for the resource in your own country by war enough.
Get us into space and we'll have longer and longer gaps between wars, as resources grow faster than we can expand.
That's a worthy goal.

Stop pretending! You don't WANT world peace. No-one does. Yes, we talk about it in respectable circles, but it is all a show. If you want peace, you are peaceful! Its that simple, but you are not - no-one is. We all want to foist our beliefs, standards, cultures, religions, philosophies and politics on one another; whether it be subtley or violently. Sorry friend, there never has been and never will be peace for you until you die. It is the only time any of us will get it, because 'WE' will no longer exist to worry about having peace! If there is a God, he/she has a sick sense of humour!
Addendum for Slave of Allah: You treated us to a tautology when you said, "misguided Muslims", as by definition if you call yourself a Muslim, you ARE misguided. This is neither belief nor opinion, simply fact.

There is no solution to world peace. This is human nature. Only a strong defence system can ensure peace in your country.

I don't think we are ever going to achieve world peace, but the UN does the best it can considering that nothing it does can be enforced and the biggest superpower tends to ignore it.
