I have a mercury 97 cougar and both keys are inside the car;

the dealer can cut you one, you will need proof of ownership, you can also have locksmith come out, but its more money to have someone come out

Either use a slim jim or call out the car unlocker guys Locksmith can do the job for about 60 dollars car unlockers 25 dollars buy a Slim Jim 10 dollars go at the passengers side because there are more wires in the drivers door. That year is easy.

The VIN number is a metal tag right behind the windshield on the drivers side and can be seen from outside the car. Copy it down and take to the FORD dealer and they can cut you another key(mind you, they would like to see proof that you own said car.

you take the vin number to the dealer they may request you bring in the title and id to prove you are you
they will make you a new key

most police officers will slim jim into you're car for you as will most locksmiths or tow truck drivers
the police will do it free
