None - what would be the ultimate goal? "Mission Accomplished"? The mission will never be accomplished, not by force at least.

We have already sacrificed too many Iraqi and American lives all for the sake of OIL and WAR PROFITEERING.
The U.S. Congress, American citizens, and U.S. soldiers were conned into believing this inane 'war' was all about bringing democracy to Iraq. It wasn't. Some people think this is a necessary avenue to peace in the Middle East. It isn't. Some might even believe that we are fighting a 'war' in Iraq to defend our own borders. We aren't.
From the first day he occupied the Oval Office, it was George W. Bush's mandate to attack Iraq for three simple and insipid reasons:
1. The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein since the days of Desert Storm when George H.W. Bush was criticized, ridiculed and humiliated for 'not finishing the job' and ousting Hussein at that time;
2. Cheney coveted all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so he and his Exxon-Mobil friends could get richer and richer and richer feeding America's addiction to cheap, easily-accessible foreign OIL;
3. Since World War II, the giant U.S. military-industrial complex (which Eisenhower warned us about) realized how profitable 'war' could be. So the politicians were all bought up, pricey lobbyists were hired, and special interest groups were formed to promote and encourage more 'war'. Thus, the U.S. got entangled in the Korean Conflict; the Cuban Missile Crisis; the Cold War; Vietnam and Desert Storm - all so that giant industrial corporations like McDonnell-Douglass, Lockheed-Martin and Sikorsky could make billions of dollars in profits.
A 'terrorist attack' was staged that allowed Bush to run rip shod over our Constitution and attack another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States. Politicians will say this is all about protecting our "national interests" (which can be interpreted to mean, "What is all OUR oil doing underneath all THEIR sand??").
We have sacrificed Iraqi and American lives so that a handful of wealthy elitists and industrialists could get even more filthy rich than they already are, including the two newest "contractors" bellying up to the government's cash bar: the Carlyle Group and Halliburton, both of whom have direct ties to the Bush-Cheney White House.
This is the most immoral, evil, repugnant thing our United States government has ever done.
Sacrificing lives for money is reprehensible. Surely Satan has reserved a special oil-soaked, blood-stained corner of Hell for Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and all 535 members of the most repulsive, arrogant, incompetent, cowardly, corrupt Republican-led Congress in U.S. history that allowed Bush to violate the UN Charter and disregard the rules of the Geneva Convention all for the sake of OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. This is obscene. -RKO- 07/30/07

As many as it takes to win the war. Before you say anything about my involvement, I have already been there and I have a disability from it. However, I would go back to my unit and fight again.
