Get a better job.
If you work for a large Company, you should check out any Internal vacancies -
If you don't have any qualifications, go to Evening Classes or sign up to the Open University ... (yes, O.U. is harder than school, but you already blew that chance ..)
A lot of Employers will provide training if you ask = or they might give you 'day release' to attend an external course (if nothing else, ask them to pay for your exam fees :-) )

Because you are possibly working in a boring monotonous job. Any repetitive work can be boring. Possibly you are not interested in the work you do and this is why you are bored. If you fall into either of these categories, I suggest you change your occupation or your state of mind. Find a job that interests you.
