does anyone know how to get into a 97 cougar if i locked the keys in?

i have used a clothes hanger and a jimmy but they get caught up; and the spare don't ask where its at

you take the vin number to the dealer they may request you bring in the title and id to prove you are you
they will make you a new key

most police officers will slim jim into you're car for you as will most locksmiths or tow truck drivers
the police will do it free

Try to look for Pop-a-lock in your area. Locksmith would be the next choice.
