I use the commute home to do that. [Office job]
I actually will "voice" record my TO DO list or after thoughts and leave them in the car for the Drive to work, the next day.

I set some strong boundries at work, they know- when I'm there its 100% and when I'm with my family its 100%. I wouldn't even talk "Shop" at the grocerystore or church. Its my time and I refuse to give it away-40 hours a week from home is much less than before, and well worth it.

So when I'm at home its quality time. I just sold my business last year and went to work for someone else. NOW, That was really hard as a small business owner, it was 24/7 all the time. My day was a 2400 schedule, not a 12 hours day. My faimly was on military time and our lives were not our own. With a young son, I didn't want to live that way anymore.

I try to leave my work at the hospital, but sometimes I have to do tutorials at home that I don't get a chance to do during regular work hours.
