You have a dead short in the electrical system. It would have to be between the hot wire on the battery and the voltage regulator, lights, or going back to the alternator.

How did they test the alternator? The most common thing is to remove the ground and say yes the engine stays running it is charging. But if there is one diode inside the alternator shorted you have a drain and wake up to a dead battery. This is very hard on a new battery so get it repaired soon! One bad diode the alternator will still charge but only about 12.5 volts not normal 13.8 to 14.8

It looks to me as your alternator is packed up that is why it is not sending the charge to the battery. Go to the alternator shop, they will check the battery and alternator free of charge and will supply you with a reconditioned with at very reasonable price. They will fix it as well. They will not charge for any labour. Before you go, just check your alternator belt, sometimes when the belt is loose, the charge is not proper.

There is either a short somewhere in the wiring, or more likely, have a qualified mechanic check to see if the "Diode" in the alternator is defective. That will almost completely kill a batteries power almost over-nite.

Sounds like a dead short to earth to me, a time consuming way to find out is pull out a fuse one at a time and see if it still drains the battery

You have a look and see if any light bulbs have shorted blown and shorted together, though I doubt it will drain the battery overnight

HAVE THE COMPLETE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM CHECKED AND LOOK TO THE ALTERNATOR DIODES VERY COMMON PROBLEM.

TRY FINDING AN INDEPENDENT SHOP INSTEAD OF THE DEALER OR A CHAIN STORE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE OVERALL MORE PLEASED WITH THE FINDINGS AND THE SERVICE.
