I have not had a colicky child. But in raising two children, I learned to trust my own judgment. If your doctor is not offering you any options, I would either seek out another doctor or talk to a nutritionist. There's got to be a way to get your child the nourishment he needs without causing him (and you) discomfort. Please, do what you need to do to straighten this out for the little guy.

I am having the same problem, my little girl is 4 months and just started to get fussy over feedings, i had to change everything around. I am still using the same formula though just am feeding her less more often and it seems to be working. Plus i am using a slow flow nipple now, rather than
the fast which went quicker but was not helping her. They say it should take no less than 20 mins to feed your baby. Try tp switch nipples to med or slow if usuing fast and if that doesn't work try more feedings...Hope i helped i am just learning this myself..

My son only had colick once or twice only because poepl told me some things that really helped. In he's room keep his vent closed at all times if it starts to get a little stuffy crack the door. Never use a fan in his room. Never drive with the windows down and make sure the milk that he's drinking is not giving him gas if you think he is try adding some cereal in his bottle and if you lready are you may need to up the amount

My son used to have the same problem when he was a baby...when someone older than me told me to stop giving him any kind of milk and start giving him Quaker oats cooked with regular cow milk (the one you can find at the supermarket). I cooked it daily with a pinch of cinnamon and my son was a healthy baby and never again have any stomach problem. No diarrhea no gasses period. Give him water with sugar and that will make him feel well. Hope this will make him feel happy. I'm an old gramma with experience. God Bless.
