You already have by taking this first step.
Plenty of single mums manage on social security or work. What you have to think of is your daughter, she would sooner have her mum more than anything you can give her from the proceeds of walking the streets.People say that prostitution is easy money,it isn't it's dangerous, demeening, and destroys the woman/man.Another thing to think about is how will your daughter react when she finds out how you have provided for her, would she blame herself, would she be so angry that she would disown you.You say you are in a nightmare your daughter is living in a horror story,if her mother ends up with her throat slit in a gutter because some Punter decides she is lower than filth(they have guilt complexs about going with prostitutes) and then transfere this guilt to you. They treat you in a way they would never treat their wives and girlfriends.
So whats it to be,your daughter or money because thats what it comes down to.you can cut your expenditure to manage and still provide for the both of you.Your daughter cannot replace you if your killed, the choice is yours.

Do you have any office skills or work experience other then what you're doing now?
Have a really hard think of what you could do, can you work in a factory assembly line? Think of anything you could do to earn money.
Not sure whether you are in the UK, if you are have you approached your local Job Centre to see what jobs are going?
You will need to take action and get yourself another source of income to replace your current. I would even approach the Job Centre and ask them how you can go about re-skilling, there are courses you can do free of charge.
You need to think of how your current vocation is going to affect your daughter in the long run. Unfortunately it will always seem that you are alone when you are in the place you're at right now but as soon as you take action and turn the corner all opportunities will open up for you.
Don't sell yourself short, give yourself the chance to change your life and your daughters for the better.
Good luck.

What do you mean by "I work the streets?" Hooker? Dealer? Highway crew? Professional driver? Hooker, I take it that you mean.

I do not know what you're saying about married men and men with girlfriends has to do with asking how to stop. Are you asking how to stop, or asking about human sexuality?

How to stop? Depends on your situation. Many people are stuck in situations, of all types. You have to decide what you actually want, first! Then you have to make a viable plan to get it. Then you have to put your plan into action. It can be updated as you go. Shifting gears like this can require a lot of perseverence.

About human sexuality, if you sell sex, you have to be prepared for who might buy it.

Dont feel bad. You will know when the time is right for you to give up this life. You need to call the samaritans or go to the Citizens Advice Bureau. there is help out there for you. You need to think about another way of life because you owe it to your daughter to be safe. She needs you.

Dont listen to people criticizing, they are not in your shoes. If the churches were only there for saints, they would be empty. Take care and sending you a ((((hug)))). Men go to women for sex because their wives or gf are not giving them what they think they need or entitled to. If men didnt go to other women for sex there would not be a job on the streets for women. It is the oldest profession. Men can be shallow.

The reason why they are usually with a partner is because they are not get what they want/need from there partner! whether it be talking or physical. The only person that can stop doing it is you, but what you have to do is ask for help, even if you are a proud person or not, let your guard down, just ask for help and someone will help you ( I can't give you a timeline because that is unknown) because you need it.

i have come across girls in the same trade as you throughout the world, and its always the same vicious circle.
crap job, and you find some addiction to blot it out.
are you an addict ?
if so, you need to come off it
then you will need less money and so jobs being suggested by the rest [like waitressing] will actually become viable options for you and child
once you are off [whatever] see one of the charities - they'll help you [so long as you have stopped]
itll be a start
a long uphill struggle, but if you really want it...............
good luck

I'm sorry but i'm REALLY SICK of woman saying they need to do it to support their kids. I had a son when i was 16 years old, i moved out of my parents when i turned 18 and i got a JOB and supported my son and myself, i didn't go work the streets and use my son as my backup.

How to stop?? Get a real job, waitressing is always good, you make a lot of tips and i'm guessing you work at night when your childs sleeping, so get a night waitressing job..it's not hard...and then get yourself tested for HIV and any other disease you might have, because if you aren't healthy what is your child gonna do when your not around?!

Try getting a real job! there are benefits through welfare that can sub lament your income like food stamps and medical until you get back on your feet! Try going back to school! Unless you want your little girl following in your foot steps. The chose is yours.
