i have 2 children who decided it was fun to draw all over our radiator with a perminent black marker pen now i cant get the marks off ive tried disinfectant, bleach normal washing up liquid i just wondered if anyone knew how to get the stains off without repainting it

Bleach will kill the marks dead in 5 minutes.Put it on neat leave on for 5 min then wipe off with a clean damp cloth.

I don't know how old your children are or if you use them but you could try BABY WIPES I found them brilliant when my kids were small used them on all grubby marks from chocolate finger prints to perminent ink ...GOOD LUCK

You can remove the ink if you use Methylated spirit. Use a soft cloth to apply then rinse well with clear warm water

sometimes a hairspray like Aquanet will remove marks like that i know it will take ink out of clothes - good luck

spotless by JML works wonders on these kinds of marks. i use it clean the white upvc windows.

Acetone , or try using a lacquer thinner...oops cancel teh thinner...ACETONE.
