Desert and mountain lands are often pretty inexpensive due to the inaccessability of water. In areas of substantial unemployment and economic adversity there are also deals to be had. The question is how big a parcel and for what purpose?

My friend, America is a huge country with thousands of pieces of land changing hands every day. I would find it difficult to tell you what the cheapest land is in my city, let alone my state. You must tell us what you want to do with the land: house, business, farm, etc. Then you must pick an area. To actually buy the land, you must come here for a visit.
