Hey man, joke or not, anything you make above shipping costs is pure profit!
As for marketing, how about a jingle like "if you're tired of a stress-free life, come bid on this and get a wife!"

Marketing - 'You've heard of Wife Swap, here is your chance to actually own a wife. Bid now!'
$235 is a bit low, what 'skills' does she have?

Hmmm you should add in that she cooks, cleans, takes care of all house hold chores, can fix anything, never has a head ache ;) never complains, and doesn't mind any manly activity like sitting on the coach for seven hours straight =) Even if it isn't true they wont know until it is too late.... And never show her picture.

Are the ciggy and bags under the eyes included or an additional expense? If yes, do you accept PayPal? Assume the shipping is included.

Wow!! You need to be giving her away. No one is going to pay that much for her...well unless you plan on giving her a make over. But I mean...dam!!! Here's a slogan. "Need some thing to put a bag over? Use my wife." What ya think???

Putting her on ebay is ridiculous. you have to wait at least 7 days to get rid of her!!

Junkyards pay money for old cars that can be used for parts... see if they do the same with wives.

Better start the bidding a little lower to ensure multiple bids.
