4a / [ 5 (a - 2) ] - 3a / [10 (a - 2) ]
8a / [10 (a - 2)] - 3a / [10 (a - 2) ]
5a / [ 10 ( a - 2) ]
a / [ 2 (a - 2) ]
PS By not using brackets, I think you will receive many different answers.

Did you leave off some brackets and the right hand side in this question? I think maybe it should be this:
4a/(5a-10) - 3a/(10a-20) = 0

Which can be rearranged:
4a/(5a-10) = 3a/(10a-20)
4a(10a-20) = 3a(5a-10)
8a(5a-10) = 3a(5a-10)

It looks as though we can divide throughout by a(5a-10) and get: 8 = 3

But beware!! This doesn't work because one of the solutions of the equation is a=0 and we can't safely divide by zero (as this gives an indeterminate result).

Dividing throughout by 5:
8a(a - 2) = 3a(a - 2)

Multiplying out & moving everything to the left hand side:
8a^2 - 16a - 3a^2 + 6a = 0

Giving:
5a^2 - 10a = 0
5a(a - 2) = 0

Finally, giving the two solutions:
a = 0 and a = 2

There isn't an answer, although it can be reduced to 1/2a-30.

I suspect that you have mistyped and it should read
4a/5a-10=3a/10a-20
which reduces instead to 1/2a = -10; therefore a=-20
