I use the website www.mymonthlycycles.com and I don't have sex around my fertile days. I've been a member for going on 4 years and haven't gotten pregnant. Well I just got pregnant now but we planned it. Also www.askdramy.com and put in your last period and it will tell you your fertile days so you know when not to have sex. Also I would sugest pulling out also. My friend used the websites but still got pregnant and was upset because she did and here they weren't pulling out. Not pulling out you take a big chance of getting pregnant no matter what method you use unless you use condoms or birth control. But the websites and pulling out ket me from getting pregnant for almost 4 years.

Generally everybody is different so unless you know exactly when you ovulate each month and how long your cycle is, there is no foolproof way to prevent pregnancy.

Generally in a 28day cycle, ovulation happens 10-14 days after the first day of your last period.
So if you got a period on the 1st of August, you would be most fertile between the 10th and 14th of August. This would be the best time to avoid having sex but by no means foolproof as it can last longer than 4 days.
Buy condoms or the pill or get an IUD inserted if you are that worried about falling pregnant.

The calendar method is a LONG way from fool-proof. Two out of three of my kids are here because for one reason or another my wife's period didn't occur when it normally does and nine months later, hello baby.
