The question is arrogrant. The world does not belong to anyone. Everyone on the planet has a particular reason for being here whether you like them or not.

You will do well remember better the reason that you are here so as not to keep repeating the same mistakes.

First of all, gays and lesbians have been around since the dawn of time. Accepting us is your choice. If you choose not to accept us, then you join the group of people that are closeminded and ignorant. Accepting us or not accepting us will not make us go away. We are here wether you like it or not. As far as the world accepting us, never will everyone accept us because there will always be some idiot with narrow views that doesnt. The same goes for any minority really. Racism, bigotry, homophobia will always exist as long as hatred exists.

Reasons why we should be accepted, Im not going to make a huge list of reasons for you, only that God made us just like he made you and that should be reason enough.

Why shouldn't we accept them? Would you ask if we should accept straight people? No, the thought probably never crossed your mind. Sorry for sounding harsh, but this is something I feel strongly about. Look, gays and lesbians should be accepted without question. They're human, flesh and blood. Their sexual orientation should not affect how they're treated. People should be judged on their character, not what gender they fall in love with.

yes they should be accepted. im straight, but im all for gay rights. people treat gay's and lesbians like they are of a different species, but they're not they are human just like you and me. why not give them equal rights? if straight people get rights, then why can't they? imagine if the world didn't except people who were straight....we can't help it its just how we are. would you like not having the same right as lesbians and homosexuals? you would have to be forced to live a life that does not make you happy because the rest of the world does not accept it. most gays and lesbians do have to hide who they are because of the fact the world does not except them. its wrong. i feel bad for them i can't imagine how hard it must be to be in their shoes. they deserve every right we have. i think they should be able to get married too. they of course deserve to be accepted. they are human.

I would hope that we can accept all people in this world with out putting a label on them. What does it really matter who a person loves as long as they are good people.

What we shouldn't accept from people in this world is behaviors that are evil and distructive to others. No matter what anyone says, homosexual is part of human nature, is not generally a choice and is not distructive to others. Even is someone that isn't born with an attraction to the same sex wants to experiment, so what, as long as like anything, they are responcible about what they are doing.

It's infadelity that is wrong no mater what your sexuality orientation

I'm somewhere between genderqueer and transsexual lesbian and I'm more into tolerance. Because of my background I'm not into this whole everybody should be friends no matter their race/orientation/religion crap. What I'm more for is everybody tolerating each other and being civil. For example I'll probably never be friends with most members of the religious right and they'll probably always think I'm a hell-bound abomination, but that doesn't mean we can't just respect each other's right to our own opinions and leave each other to our own lives.

Underneath the labels that we stick on people, are souls. These souls are all the same colour and have no gender. They are precious and priceless. None of us has the right to say who is and isn't acceptable in this world. Good people are good people whatever their sexual orientation.

why not ? thy are people , just because there sexual preference is different does not make them less of a person.
You don't have to like there ways , but you don't have to be rude and ignorant about it or try to hurt them .
how would you like it if a group of people wanted to hurt you because of your looks.
I would except lesbians and gays as a friend before I would a Church going hypocrite.

I am a very religious person and I don't think they are from God. But at the end of the day they are people just like me and you and we should accept them just for that. We are not here to judge them, they will be judged one day by God at Judgment Day (if you believe in that). I to be honest sometimes I feel more comfortable with a guy man than with a normal man who's a pervert. And as for women, I feel a bit uncomfortable if I know she is a lesbian. That's they way it is. They say this is the way they feel, what can we do? We can't change that. I just pray to go my kids won't turn out like this.

yes, they are people just like straight people. If you take them away from thir same sex partner, they are no different. Sexuality does not change species or anything, its none of our business what people do privately anyway. Why not? Its no different than interracial/interbelief relatinships-being with someone a different color or religion than yours should make no difference love has no color, no bounds, no rules to say who and what color a person should be with. Its what makes them happy.
