1) Y=aX+b,
2) a=tan(30)=0.57735
3) (X=-4, Y=6) then according to Y=aX+b:
6=0.57735*(-4)+b
4) then b=8.3094
5) then from (1),(2),(4) the equation will be: Y=0.57735X+8.3094

gradient = m = tan 30Â° = (1 / â3)
y - 6 = m (x + 4)
y - 6 = (1 / â3) (x + 4)
y = (1 /â3) x + (4 / â3) + 6

THE GRADIENT IS 1/SQ ROOT 3

AT TAN 30 = GRADIENT WITH ANGLE 30 DEGREES

SO EQN IS

y - 6 = 1/sq rt 3 ( x + 4)

then just rearrange
